Simply put, this is a little service which allows you to send an image file to one of your twitter friends. Both of your have to be friends (no followers) as the message is sent via direct messaging.

With this service you could send a file to someones mobile (cell) phone if they have phone notifications enabled, or do the reverse and visit the site from your phone browser and send a file that way.
Ok let’s move on to the subject of sending your login details over the web. I did think about this and some of your may not be too fussed on doing so, but I’m guessing some will be.
I have considered rather then sending your details I would have a dedicated user (tweetafile) sending the messages instead, you upload the file and add your friend and that would be it, the message would come from the user rather then you. Only downside to this, your friend would have to accept the user (tweetafile) as a friend to receive the messages.
Well that’s it, feel free to discuss, report bugs, suggestions or simply tell to me what a silly idea this all is.
P.s. The logo and site was like a 10min job (OK slightly longer).

I like. I would probably get more use for tweeting all my followers with a file link. And besides having a dedicated twitter user you could also just make the code available and we could put them on our own sites with our own usernames and passwords hardcoded in.

Hi Daniel, I’m more then happy to pass on the code, it’s not the best but if you know any php you won’t have any problems :)
Just drop me an email, found at the bottom of the page.
